Chef Programs

There are lots of opportunities for chefs who like and promote pork!

If recipe development is your passion, the Taste of Elegance is an opportunity to show your skills with pork. Competition starts at the state or regional level which is sponsored by state pork producer associations. Winners of these competitions move on to the National Taste of Elegance competition with the winner taking Chef Par Excellence honors and prize money.

Another opportunity is as a Celebrated Chef. If you believe, like we do, that pork is versatile and think more operators should menu pork, then here’s your chance to let them know. Apply to be a Celebrated Chef and industry spokesperson for the National Pork Board.

And finally, if you’re looking for a specific breed of pork or pork with certain attributes which are not found in traditional commodity pork, the section on Specialty pork is for you.
